Sylvester Stallone was in Tokyo this week promoting his new movie. He stopped in at the Ryogoku Kokugikan to watch the September basho--and he loved it. According to the
STORY in the Japan Times, the
Rocky star was impressed with the simplicity of the sport and the fury of it.
I can't disagree.
But another note--Hakuho, the Mongolian Stallion, has now stretched his winning streak into a stunning 61 wins. Wow! Way to go, Hakuho! Between Hakuho and Baruto, I'd say despite the crud in Nagoya, there's still a bright hope for us fans.
